# KGeN

> KGeN is a verified-human data network across the Global South that sources multimodal, diverse data to train Physical AI and LLMs. Protocol revenue is wired directly to the token: every AI-data contract permanently retires $KGEN from circulation — governed by code and verifiable on-chain. The thesis in one line: revenue becomes tokenomics.

KGeN turns a network of real, verified humans into the data layer behind Physical AI and LLMs. Across 60+ countries and 20+ languages, verified contributors produce the multimodal training data these models need — voice and audio (including conversational speech and low-resource languages), image and video, physical and egocentric capture (sensor/motion for robotics), and LLM/RLHF tasks (instruction tuning, preference pairs, evaluation, red-teaming). This data is sourced through quests and campaigns on KGeN's engagement platform (KGeN Engage), and its provenance is proven on-chain through KGeN's on-chain Proof of Human reputation — so every contributor is a unique, verified human, not a bot or a farm.

KGeN serves two demand sides: the builders of Physical AI and LLMs, and brands. Builders of Physical AI and LLMs pay KGeN for verified-human, multimodal data and evaluation. The same global verified-human network underpins both: data for AI, and distribution for brands — a commerce engine that generates sales for brands via gift vouchers and goods across ~10 categories in K-Store: mobile recharge, game top-ups, entertainment & streaming, food & dining, quick commerce & grocery, shopping & marketplaces, fashion & apparel, jewellery, prepaid & gift cards, and physical goods & merchandise. Community members redeem KCash (the platform currency) in K-Store, or pay with cryptocurrency for purchases (not available in India) and local fiat options such as UPI in India.

$KGEN's tokenomics rests on three levers — Supply Reduction, Staking, and Product (the token as the ecosystem's core currency). The model is deflationary by design. $KGEN has a fixed cap of 1,000,000,000. At genesis (the "Genesis Burn", June 2026), 22,000,000 $KGEN — roughly 10% of circulating supply — was permanently retired, drawn entirely from unclaimed airdrop allocations and unsold node allocations: dormant pools with no beneficial owner. It is a retirement, not a sale or an insider buyback, and every transaction is public on the Aptos blockchain.

Beyond the one-time Genesis Burn, a perpetual, on-chain mechanism keeps reducing supply as the AI business grows. The flow is: AI Revenue → Contribution Margin → → Token Retirement → Reduced Circulating Supply. Revenue is independently audited and attested on-chain (removing reliance on self-reported figures), a share of contribution margin is permanently retired from the $KGEN circulating supply. The mechanism is built on four principles: Transparency (reductions visible on-chain), Verifiability (revenue independently audited and published on-chain), Automation (executed programmatically by smart-contract rules), and Scalability (supply reduction grows as revenue grows).

Current focus (2026): KGeN is launching a high volume of quests for Physical AI and voice data for its global community, and converting that participation into revenue — capturing a share of the billions spent on LLMs and Physical AI. This is the core of "KGeN 2.0", the repositioning into an AI-first verified-human data business with a deflationary token.
